The Orbiter electric scooter comes with an IDC range of 158 km on a single charge in the Indian market.
TVS Motor Company has launched the Orbiter electric scooter at a starting price of Rs 99,900 (ex-showroom, Bengaluru) in the Indian market. To be positioned below the iQube in the company’s EV portfolio, it is the first TVS e-scooter to be priced below Rs 1 lakh as it rivals Ola S1X, Bajaj Chetak 3001 and Vida VX2. The online bookings for the electric scooter has commenced from today.
Riding on 14-inch wheels, TVS Orbiter has a ground clearance of 165mm. It gets a 290 mm straight-line footboard and 845 mm long flatform single-piece seat. The Orbiter flaunts LED headlamp with a visor which are flanked by edge-to-edge combination lights with integrated indicators. Some of the notable features in the e-scooter include cruise control, hill hold assist, USB charging slot and reverse mode.

The Orbiter gets a Bluetooth enabled coloured LCD cluster with incoming call display and access to an array of features through the TVS SmartXonnect app. The riders can enjoy several connectivity features in the form of turn-by-turn navigation, live location, geo-fencing, fall detection, theft detection and OTA updates among others. It gets two ride modes namely Eco and Power with regenerative braking.
The 3.1 kWh battery pack as well as the traction motor come with IP67 certification. TVS Orbiter returns an IDC range of 158 km on a single charge. TVS Orbiter can be availed in six colour options namely Neon Sunburst, Stratos Blue, Lunar Grey, Stellar Silver, Cosmic Titanium, and Martian Copper.
