Is the MV Agusta-Zagato Special Edition Based on the F4?

The folks at MV Agusta a few days back put up a rather interesting teaser about a motorcycle developed in collaboration with the Italian design firm Zagato. While that has kept a lot of people scratching their heads, folks at AcidMoto, a Swiss automotive website, claims new details about the said bike.

As per their report Zagato have tied up with MV Agusta to bring out a special edition version of the F4. Now in the stock form, the inline 4 pot 998 cc mill churns out 192.29 bhp of maximum power at 13,400 rpm and 110.8 Nm of peak torque at 9,600 rpm. In the F4 RR the power output is raised to 197.7 bhp. Of course the RC has an even higher figure but that’s limited only to 250 units. Expect all the bells and whistles of modern day tech to be present in the motorcycle.

Now Castiglioni, their CEO, has been very vocal about the need of a new 4 pot line up but that is difficult to happen so soon. So guessing this to be a new line with a limited edition from Zagato to kick start the tale is a dream which might not come true.
