Just like what the Ninja 1000 and out of the world looker Z1000 are to Kawasaki, these new GSX’s are to Suzuki – the more road-rideable sportbikes. They are not outright track-machines like the flagships ZX-10R or GSX-R1000 respectively however, they are built on the same platform.

Both the new S1000 and S1000F will come with standard ABS and are powered by 999 cc 4 cylinder liquid cooled DOHC engines which are capable of producing 145.5 PS of peak power and 106 Nm of maximum torque. Both these motorcycles will be launched in India in two color options – Metallic Triton Blue and Glass Sparkle Black/Candy Daring Red.
