Black Faired Gixxer SF Spied; Looks Absolutely Launch Ready

The Pulsar RS200 and HX250R have been hogging up all the limelight from the last 2-3 days and let us not forget that there is another interesting motorcycle, though smaller, is in the making. The upcoming Gixxer SF, the faired version of the popular 155cc Gixxer by Suzuki has been snapped again, this time in black! The sporty little motorcycle will be the Japanese’ new flagship (Superbikes notwithstanding and Inazuma is almost no more).

These new pictures from Bikeportal reveal that Suzuki will, thankfully, be lending the Gixxer SF a clean look without any jazzy stickers on regular colors. We have noticed that in the white and black motocycle so far. They only get a grey shade lower fairing along with the regular brand stickers. However, the blue colored SF will get some extra stickerwork with big bold Suzuki stickers on the sides and some dashes here and there.

Gixxer SF will be slugging it out with the semi-faired Fazer and the upcoming Pulsar 150AS and may snatch a few customers from the R15 as well.

If the naked Gixxer’s price is taken as a standard, the SF should ideally be priced lower than the Fazer FI V2, which when launched had an asking price of Rs 83,850 ex-showroom, Delhi.

The new bike is expected to house the same the same 154.9 cc mill which, on the naked Gixxer, churns out 14.8 PS of power at 8,000 rpm and 14 Nm at 6,000 rpm.

It appears that these pictures have been snapped at Suzuki’s plant and looking at everything, the bikes are all set for launch. Expect an official word from the company soon…
