Owning a Hero Electric Scooter is Just a Click Away: Snapdeal Now Sells Hero E-Scooters

E-Commerce intends to make the world go smaller! So smaller that you don’t even have to go to a dealer’s showroom to get yourself a two wheeler booked. Online marketplace Snapdeal was the first of its kind website to actually sell two wheelers online. Last month we have seen Mahindra selling their scooter models at Snapdeal. Now, in addition to this Hero E-Scoot range is lined up to walk the ramp.

The range of E-Scoots currently being sold here starts from INR 27,500 and it continues to go higher up based on what you are looking for. The website now retails:

  • Optima Plus
  • Zion
  • Wave Dx
  • Maxi
  • Cruz models

Commenting on this Mr. Tony Navin, Vice President-Business Development, Snapdeal.com, said,

“We were the first ones to venture into e-selling of vehicles in the industry. Now by introducing the new range of Hero Electric bikes, we want our customers to have options which are not only pocket-friendly but also eco-friendly.”

He seemed to be more interested with the Eco Friendly tag and added,

“Apart from being environment-friendly, these bikes come with a low maintenance cost and mileage up to 70 km per charge making them a cost-efficient option compared to the conventional fuel-powered two-wheelers.”

Hero electric is equally happy with this association and when Mr. Sohinder Gill, CEO- Global Business of Hero Electric had to comment on this, he said,

“Consumers will be able to buy Hero Electric Bikes online easily with the same experience as would have been while visiting the nearest showroom.”

How much would you actually support buying a two wheeler online? Will we soon end up buying Gixxers and FireBlades online? They were once referred to as toys and I think it needs a regret at this point of time. Throw your thoughts on this below.
