Honda to Ship Six New Bikes in Year 2013

Honda Motor Corporation has unveiled six new upcoming bikes at the 2012 EICMA Show in Milan, Italy.  Honda’s six new models include CB500F, CBR500R, and CB 500 X, CBR600RR, NSS300 Forza and Gold Wing F6B. The most exciting launches are trio of CB500F, CBR500R and CB500X. All three shares similar engine but each has different style. Here are the Honda’s classification for each type.

CB500F

The CB500F has a brilliant two-cylinder engine, a solid chassis and a high level of safety thanks to ABS two-channel series. The design of the new CB500F is inspired by the phenomenal four-cylinder CB1000R. The line is sleek, compact, ideal for riding with incredible maneuverability in heavy traffic and have fun on the open road. The ergonomics are designed to offer plenty of space and comfort for riders of all sizes and body types, and due to the seat at only 790 mm from the ground even the less high you feel comfortable and safe.

CBR500R

A new supersport bike come in the already large family of Honda CBR. It’s called CBR500R. Perfect for those who you approach the supersport but rewarding even for experts, the new CBR500R is at ease in the city, thanks to the exceptional maneuverability, the smoothness of, and ergonomics suitable for riders of all sizes.

CB500

The new CB500X is the perfect mid-size adventure-bike . Agile and fun thanks to the brilliant two-cylinder engine and chassis based on the maximum ease of driving, it is also ideal for those coming from lower displacement or holds a license A2. Perfect start to give free rein to their passion for riding, the CB500X offers greater control and optimum comfort – thanks to the raised driving position – and an ability to deal with the most rugged paths unknown to pure road bike. In the city or on mountain roads, on dirt roads or on the highway, with the new Honda CB500X the adventure begins. The raised suspension with long-travel suspension, is one of the peculiarities of the new CB500X. Great on long journeys as well as on the trails of daily commuting, is inspired in design to the powerful Crosstourer 1200 with V4 engine.

Common features

The in-line twin engine with 4 valves per cylinder delivers a maximum power of 48 bhp (35 kW) (54bhp in USA and Canada model).

Fuel consumption of just 27 km / l (average cycle WMTC)

The steel frame and suspension of high quality (41 mm telescopic fork and rear shock absorber with progressive linkage Pro-Link) guarantee an accurate and reliable, thanks to the lightweight aluminum wheels, 17-inch sports tires on which are mounted lowered.

The powerful disc brakes with profile daisy ensure powerful braking, and the two-channel ABS as standard active safety is at the highest level.

Gold Wing F6B

The Gold Wing F6B is a new stablemate to the GL1800 Gold Wing. It combines the Gold Wing’s awesome 1800cc flat-six cylinder engine and nimble handling chassis, with a striking, stripped-down style to create a unique custom-touring motorcycle.

NSS300 Forza

The NSS300 Forza is a new high specification, mid-size sporty sit-in scooter powered by an engine that delivers long-range commuting performance with a compact chassis that offers storage for two full-faced helmets.

CBR600RR

For 2013, Honda’s Supersports jewel has been significantly upgraded, with a new-look face, MotoGP-inspired bodywork and aerodynamics. Handling has been further improved with the addition of 41mm Showa Big Piston Forks, refined rear suspension and new 12-spoke wheels, whilst remapped fuel injection and air intake control settings make for even better throttle response. The 2013 CBR600RR will also be available in a new Repsol color scheme.
