5 Upcoming Electric Motorcycles Launching in 2026-27 in India

In the next 2 years, we will witness the launch of multiple electric motorcycles in the Indian market

The electric two-wheeler industry has grown at a swift pace in the Indian market. However, over 95 percent of the overall sales come from scooters while motorcycles account only for the remaining 5 percent. This is due to the lack of electric motorcycles in the country as among the mainstream EV brands, only Ola Electric sells e-motorcycles. However, things are going to change in future as several leading two-wheeler brands such as Royal Enfield, TVS and Hero MotoCorp will be entering this segment. Hence, in this piece, we will talk about the 5 upcoming electric motorcycles launching in 2026-27 in India.

1. Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6

The Flying Flea C6 will be Royal Enfield’s first-ever electric motorcycle in the Indian market. It is likely to be launched by April 2026 in the country. The neo retro electric bike has been presented as an urban commuter as it features 19-inch alloy wheels, round mirrors and LED headlamp.

Sitting on the L platform, it gets several bells and whistles in the form of dual-channel ABS, forged aluminium Girder front fork, and coloured digital touchscreen display with Bluetooth connectivity, Navigation, Voice assist and OTA updates. The technical specs are not known yet but it is learnt to be delivering performance equivalent to a 350cc ICE-powered motorcycle.

2. TVS eFX three o Concept

TVS Motor Company unveiled the eFX three o Concept at the EICMA 2025 in Italy. It will be the brand’s first-ever electric bike in India when it launches by the end of 2026 or early 2027 in the country. The concept version showcased in Milan had C-shaped LED headlamp and tail lamp clusters.

Some of the prominent highlights of the upcoming TVS electric motorcycle include golden USD front forks, large alloy wheels, belt-drive setup, and ADAS tech with integrated dashcam system. It could be equipped with iQube’s 3.4 kWh battery pack along with 1 kWh “range boosters” to quickly add 40-50 km of range.

3. Hero Vida Concept Ubex

Hero MotoCorp held the world premiere of its first electric motorcycle, the Ubex, in concept form at the EICMA 2025. Underpinning a modular platform, it has been developed for all-terrain riding. The neo-naked urban hypermoto was presented in a dual-tone colour scheme wherein the frame is in white paint while the body panels are finished in red.
