Kawasaki India will widen its premium motorcycle portfolio with the launch of multiple new models and updated versions of existing bikes
Kawasaki India is on a roll with the launch of several new motorcycles in the country. The Japanese two-wheeler brand recently introduced the MY2026 updates for the Vulcan S, Z650RS, Versys 650, Ninja 650 and Z1100 among others in the Indian market. For those asking, Kawasaki is the only brand that retails most of its India-spec models in CBU form. Now, we have learnt that it is planning to roll out multiple new motorcycles this year in India. Hence, in this piece, we will talk in detail about the 4 upcoming Kawasaki bikes in 2026-27 in India.
1. Kawasaki KLE 500
Unveiled in Oct 2025, Kawasaki’s first all-new adventure motorcycle in recent years has been confirmed to launch in India in the next few months. Unlike the KLX230, it is likely to be sold as full-import and hence could be priced in the same ballpark as the Ninja 500, which is sold at Rs 5.66 lakh (ex-showroom).
Based on a high-tensile steel trellis frame, it comes loaded with signature ADV elements such as tall adjustable windshield, raised short fuel tank, aluminum skid plate and sleek side covers. Riding on 21-inch front and 17-inch rear spoked wheels, Kawasaki KLE 500 is equipped with the same 451cc parallel twin engine as the Ninja 500. The power and torque figures have not been released yet by the brand.

2. 2026 Kawasaki ZX-10R
Kawasaki will launch the updated version of its superbike by mid 2026 in the Indian market. The 2026 ZX-10R will come with new bodywork and massive winglets. The global-spec model has received refreshed styling, electronic updates and revised chassis. Kawasaki ZX-10R has been priced at Rs 20.79 lakh (ex-showroom). Expect the new model to be priced around the same, if not more.
3. 2026 Kawasaki Z900RS
The neo-retro Z900RS will be introduced in a modern avatar later this year. The updates are going to be similar to the Z900, which includes latest features in the form of ride-by-wire throttle and cruise control. Needless to state, the 2026 Kawasaki Z900RS will be retailed as CBU, identical to the current model, and subsequently resulting in a higher pricing.

4. 2026 Kawasaki Z650S
Last but not the least, the 2026 Kawasaki Z650S will be launched in the next few months in India. The latest iteration of the naked motorcycle will borrow styling cues from the Z900 while boasting of a new TFT instrument cluster. The ergonomics are also said to be tweaked by Kawasaki. It will be positioned over the Z650 upon its launch with a price of around Rs 7.50 lakh (ex-showroom).
