Hero MotoCorp will introduce multiple new bikes in the e2w segment and quarter-litre ICE segment in the Indian market
Hero MotoCorp finished 2025 as the leading two-wheeler brand in the Indian market. It had introduced several new models last year in the country across various segments. The prominent new arrivals included Glamour X 125, Xoom 160, and Vida VX2 among others. It is likely to continue this launching spree this year too by foraying into multiple new segments with fresh models. In this piece, we will talk in detail about the 3 upcoming Hero bikes in India, which include both ICE-powered models and EVs.
1. Hero Karizma XMR 250
Unveiled at the EICMA 2024, it is the brand’s first fully-faired bike in the quarter-litre segment. The Karizma XMR 250 comes with a plethora of premium features such as split LED headlamp, clip-on handlebars, TFT instrument console, slipper and assist clutch, dual-channel ABS, and integrated winglets. The sportsbike likely to launch later this year in our country.

At the heart, it has the 250cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled petrol engine which generates top power of 30 bhp and peak torque of 25 Nm while paired to a 6-speed transmission. This engine has been developed out of the existing 210cc engine of the Karizma XMR 210. Hero Karizma XMR 250 will directly rival Suzuki Gixxer SF 250, KTM RC 200 and Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 in the Indian market.
2. Hero Vida VxZ
Hero MotoCorp recently filed the design patent of ‘Project VxZ’ in India. Branded as its first mass-market electric bike under the Vida badging, the VxZ will be co-developed by the US-based Zero Motorcycle. The filing of design patent indicates that it is likely to go on sale in the coming months in the Indian market. Hero Vida VxZ was unveiled at the EICMA 2025 in Milan, Italy.

Flaunting a naked streetfighter design, the all-electric bike boasts of LED headlamp with signature Vida LED DRLs, LED turn indicators, USD front suspension, 5-spoke alloy wheels, stepped seat, and a compact tail section. It has been learnt that Hero VxZ electric bike will also get multiple ride modes, digital instrument cluster, petal disc brakes and belt-drive system.
3. Hero Ubex Concept
The neo-naked hypermoto made its global debut at the EICMA 2025. Underpinned by a modular chassis, it has been developed for all-terrain riding. The Ubex concept showcased in Milan was presented in a dual-tone red and white body colours. Some of the notable features onboard the electric bike are floating seat, alloy wheels, USD front forks and mid-mounted electric motor.

The term ‘Ubex’ is created from ‘Urbex’ which denotes to urban exploration. The battery pack and range details are not in public domain yet. However, we expect the electric bike to deliver 150+ km on a single charge. It will directly rival Royal Enfield Flying Flea S6 which is scheduled to go on sale by the end of 2026 in the domestic market in India.
