2026 Triumph Trident 660, Tiger Sport 660 Unveiled

Both these India-bound 660cc bikes come with sunstantial update in power and torque while getting new bodywork and fresh graphics

Triumph has globally unveiled the 2026 models of the Trident 660 and Tiger Sport 660 with significant cosmetic and mechanical updates. Both the models come with higher power and torque figures while offered in new colour schemes and graphic schemes. The updated motorcycles are likely to launch in the coming months in the Indian market. Triumph Trident 660 is sold at a price point of Rs 8.99 lakh in India while Triumph Tiger Sport 600 comes at a price of Rs 9.45 lakh in the domestic market. Both the prices mentioned before are ex-showroom, India.

First things first, the 2026 Trident 660 is rolled out in three colourways namely Snowdonia White, Cosmic Yellow and Stone Grey. It flaunts subtle Triumph branding on the handlebar clamp, filler cap, and integrated into the headlight and tail light. The bike rides on lightweight cast aluminium wheels which are fitted with Michelin Road 5 tyres. The stopping power comes from twin 310mm disc brakes with two-piston Nissin calipers.

Alongside this, both models gain important chassis and styling updates that enhance their presence and capability, while retaining the accessibility and A2 licence compatibility that have made them so popular.”

At the heart, the 2026 Triumph Trident 660 has the same 660cc 3-cylinder liquid-cooled petrol engine, albeit with a bump in power and torque. It now generates max power of 94 bhp at 11,250 rpm and peak torque of 68 Nm at 8250 rpm while paired to a 6-speed gearbox. The power output and torque delivery has increased by 14 bhp and 4 Nm, respectively. The bike has a low saddle height of 810 mm. It also boasts of new wider handlebars while tipping the scale at 195 kg.

2026 Triumph Tiger Sport 660

The 2026 Tiger Sport 660 has been introduced in two dual-tone colour schemes namely Interstellar Blue + Mineral Grey and Silver Ice + Intense Orange. It is packed with a larger 18.6-litre fuel tank and new bodywork including updated radiator cowls. Some of the notable features onboard the sportsbike are Cornering ABS, switchable Cornering Traction Control, Triumph Shift Assist, Cruise Control, Ride-by-wire Throttle, Ride modes (Sport, Road and Rain), Coloured TFT display with an LCD screen, Bluetooth connectivity, and Turn-by-turn navigation.

The 2026 Tiger Sport 660 also features an adjustable windscreen which can be easily adjusted with one hand, taking the height from 1312 mm to 1395 mm. The bike is presented with a revised chassis, upright riding position and low seat height. The optional features include a dual low seat, reducing seat height to 810mm, heated grips, handguards, colour coded panniers with combined capacity of 57 litres and a top box providing an additional 49 litres.
