The global-spec version of the 2026 KTM 390 Duke has been unveiled globally with a couple of subtle updates
The 2026 KTM 390 Duke has been globally unveiled with updated brake caliper and two new colourways. The updated model is also likely to launch in the Indian market in the coming months. The European brand has not made any visual or mechanical updates to the naked streetfighter, except for the aforementioned upgrades. KTM 390 Duke is one of the most popular models in the middleweight (350-450cc) segment in India and regularly features in the list of top 10 motorcycles sold in the country.
First things first, the 2026 KTM 390 Duke boasts of an all-new WP FCR4 front brake caliper for better stopping power. The braking setup remains unchanged with a 320mm front disc and 240mm rear disc unit at the helm. This braking system is aided by cornering ABS and Supermoto ABS, which comes fitted as standard safety equipment. The two fresh paint schemes introduced by KTM are deep matte blue and Gun Metal Grey.
Notably, the newly-introduced blue shade looks quite peculiar on the fuel tank and its extensions. The ‘Duke’ lettering has gone for a toss in favour of the ‘390’ graphics, which has been purposefully highlighted in a bigger font. The alloy wheels are also finished in a black colour which is a departure from the signature orange shade of the previous model.

The steel trellis frame is suspended by WP-sourced 43 mm USD front forks and monoshock rear unit. Both the front and rear suspension units have a travel of 150 mm. While the USD forks come with compression and rebound adjustability, the rear monoshock unit is only rebound adjustable. However, the preload adjustability can be availed by the buyers as an option.
Some of the prominent features onboard the 2026 390 Duke are All-LED lighting, Multi ride modes (Street, Rain & Track), Cruise control, Launch control, Traction control system, Turn-by-turn navigation and 5-inch TFT instrument cluster. All these bells and whistles have been carried over from the preceding model.

At the heart, the naked motorcycle continues with the 399cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled LC4 petrol engine which develops top power of 45.3 bhp and peak torque of 39 Nm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox. The 2026 KTM 390 Duke has a kerb weight of 165 kg while it can be availed with two different seat heights of 800 mm and 820 mm.
