2026 Kawasaki Z1100 Launch Price Rs 12.79 Lakh in India

The Z1100 supernaked motorcycle is a direct rival to Honda CB1000 Hornet SP, priced at Rs 13.29 lakh, in the Indian market

Kawasaki India has launched the 2026 Z1100 supernaked motorcycle at a sticker price of Rs 12.79 lakh (ex-showroom) in the country. Available in a single fully-loaded Standard variant, it locks horns with the Honda CB1000 Hornet SP which is priced at Rs 13.29 lakh (ex-showroom) in the Indian market. Apart from subtle design updates and new features, the 2026 Kawasaki Z1100 gets a bigger powerplant. The supernaked bike has been presented in a Ebony/Metallic Carbon Grey colour scheme in the domestic market.

Adorning the signature Sugomi design philosophy, the 2026 Kawasaki Z1100 flaunts sharp lines and aggressive curved surfaces. The supernaked gets dual-pod LED headlamps, sculpted fuel tank and a sleeker rear profile. The handlebar position has been updated as it is wider and placed further forward. The predator-like appeal of the preceding model has been retained in the new version.

Sitting on a highly rigid aluminium twin-tube frame, the 2026 Kawasaki Z1100 comes loaded with a plethora of modern features in the form of cruise control, bidirectional quickshifter (Kawasaki Quick Shifter), traction control system with three levels, and dual-channel ABS. The supernaked motorcycle boasts of a 5-inch fully digital TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity to Smartphone via the RIDEOLOGY THE APP MOTORCYCLE.

The 2026 Z1100 rides on 17-inch wheels which are shod with 120/70 ZR17 section front and 190/50 ZR17 section rear Dunlop Sportmax Q5A tyres. It has a ground clearance of 125 mm while the saddle height is pegged at 815 mm. Tipping the weighing scale at 200 kg (dry weight), the 2026 Kawasaki Z1100 has a fuel tank capacity of 17 litres.

The suspension duties at front are performed by 41mm inverted forks with compression and rebound damping, and spring preload adjustability while at the rear, there is a horizontal back-link gas-charged shock absorber with rebound damping and spring preload adjustability. The stopping power comes from Brembo-sourced dual semi-floating disc units at front and a single rear disc brake.

2026 Kawasaki Z1100

At the heart, the 2026 Kawasaki Z1100 houses the same 1099cc 4-cylinder liquid-cooled engine as the Ninja 1100SX. This engine generates max power of 134 bhp at 9000 rpm and highest torque of 113 Nm at 7600 rpm while paired to a 6-speed gearbox with assist & slipper clutch. The aluminium twin-tube frame has also been borrowed from the Ninja 1100SX.
