The 2026 Ninja 300 gets new colour options while remaining unchanged in terms of design, features and engine
Kawasaki India has launched the 2026 Ninja 300 at a sticker price of Rs 3.17 lakh (ex-showroom, India) in the country. The latest version of the fully-faired twin-cylinder motorcycle comes in new colours with fresh graphics while retaining the same set of features, cycle parts and engine. The 2026 Kawasaki Ninja 300 is presented in Lime Green single-tone colour and Candy Lime Green + Ebony dual-tone paint shade. The Ninja 300 is the entry-level model in Kawasaki’s Ninja line-up as it rivals KTM RC 390, TVS Apache RR 310 and Yamaha R3 in India.
Sitting on a steel-tube diamond frame, the 2026 Kawasaki Ninja 300 comes with new dual projector headlights, slightly forward-slanting seat, raised handlebars, new floating-style windscreen and minimalist tail cowl. The stopping power comes from petal disc units at front and rear. It boasts of a large analogue-style tachometer with multi-function LCD screen.
Some of the notable features onboard are Assist & Slipper Clutch, Economical Riding Indicator, and Dual-Channel ABS. The suspension duties are carried by telescopic front forks and a gas-charged monoshock absorber at the rear. Tipping the weighing scale at 179 kg, the 2026 Kawasaki Ninja has a ground clearance of 140 mm. It has a fuel tank capacity of 17 litres.

The 2026 Ninja 300 is powered by the same 296cc twin-cylinder liquid-cooled petrol engine which develops top power of 38.9 bhp at 11,000 rpm and peak torque of 26.1 Nm at 10,000 rpm. This engine is also seen on the Versys-X 300 adventure motorcycle with a 6-speed gearbox. The Ninja 300 borrows dual throttle valves from the Ninja ZX-10R and Ninja ZX-6R for linear throttle response. The saddle height is pegged at 785 mm.
Kawasaki is all set to expand its motorcycle line-up in the Indian market. The Japanese brand will launch at least four new bikes this year in the country, including the all-new KLE 500. It is also likely to launch the updated 2026 version of its several existing models such as the ZX-10R, Z900RS and Z650S. These are expected to launch in a phased manner.

Meanwhile, in other news, Kawasaki has rolled out heavy discounts on its Ninja range of motorcycles which includes ZX-10R, ZX-6R, 650, 500 and 300. These benefits are available on the purchase of the MY25 units. The company has stated that the offers and discounts are valid until Jan 31 or till the stock lasts.
