The official Instagram handle of Bajaj Pulsar has posted multiple images of the upcoming bike in a light camouflage ahead of its official debut
Recently, the new-gen Pulsar 125 was spotted at a Bajaj dealership ahead of its official launch on Aug 12, 2026 in the Indian market. Now, the 2026 Pulsar N160 has been captured on camera, albeit with camouflage. It is likely to launch alongside the new-gen Pulsar 125 next week in the domestic market in India. The spy image was shared by the official Instagram handle of Bajaj Pulsar, hinting at a possible tease by the brand to generate curiosity and anticipation among its customer base ahead of the debut.
First things first, the test unit wearing light camouflage looks similar to the ongoing model of the Pulsar N160 with the overall bodywork, fuel tank shrouds, and alloys kept untouched. In addition, the dimensions are also pretty identical to the current-gen version of the motorcycle. Hence, it makes it rather obvious that Bajaj has not opted for a radical overhaul, instead subtle updates can be noticed.
The front fascia of the 2026 Bajaj Pulsar N160 flaunts a refreshed LED DRL design which suggests that the company has revised the headlight unit. However, the shape and size of the headlamp remains the same, the DRL has been updated to lend a fresh look to the motorcycle. The side profile and tail section are unchanged and carry the same styling as before.
Another big addition in the 2026 Bajaj Pulsar N160 is the fully-coloured LCD instrument cluster, which was recently seen on the new-gen Pulsar 125. This new unit also comes with Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation. This will be a big upgrade for the bike over the current instrument cluster as the new unit will offer better readability.
The images posted at Bajaj Pulsar’s official Instagram handle suggest that it is the range-topping ‘Dual Channel Split Seat USD’ variant. We can clearly see the golden-coloured USD front suspension, split-seat setup and dual-channel ABS in the pics. Since the model in the teased images is shown wearing camouflage, the possibility of rolling out new colour options cannot be ruled out either.
At the heart, the 2026 Bajaj Pulsar N160 is likely to be powered by the same 164.82cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine which generates max power of 15.8 bhp and peak torque of 14.65 Nm. The engine is paired to a 5-speed gearbox. The Pulsar N160 will be up against the likes of TVS Apache RTR 160 4V, Hero Xtreme 160R 4V, and Yamaha FZ-S Fi in the Indian market.
