The 2026 Bajaj Pulsar 220F gets new graphics, fresh colour schemes and advanced features as it goes on sale in the next few days in India
Update: Bajaj Auto has officially confirmed that the 2026 Pulsar 220F retains the single channel ABS from the ongoing model and dual-channel ABS has not been offered with the new version of bike.
We recently brought to you the first exclusive pics of the 2026 Bajaj Pulsar 150, which is likely to launch soon in the Indian market. Now, the 2026 Bajaj Pulsar 220F has been spotted undisguised at a dealership ahead of its launch. As per media reports, both the updated motorcycles are expected to launch at the 2025 India Bike Week (IBW), which will be held between Dec 19-20, 2025. A few days back, Rajiv Bajaj had confirmed that the brand will introduce multiple updated models in the Pulsar range in the coming months in India.
The 2026 Pulsar 220F gets several styling updates along with new safety features. It has been offered in two dual-tone paint options. The base colour remains black in both, but one flaunts Red and Grey decals while the other gets Copper and Grey graphics. The decals are graphics around the fuel tank and side panels are fresh in nature. Just so you know, it will be the design update for the Pulsar 220F ever since it debuted in the country.
However, Bajaj Auto has smartly retained the existing signature elements of the bike such as split seat setup, clip-on handlebars, and fairing mounted ORVMs. The changes come only in the form of new decals and colour schemes. The features too have been carried over from the ongoing model like illuminated switchgear, projector headlamps and an all-digital instrument cluster with LCD display.

The riders can pair the Smartphone with the instrument panel through Bluetooth to access advanced features via the mobile app, including turn-by-turn navigation. The biggest update in terms of features is the dual-channel ABS. Though, right from the beginning, the Pulsar 220F used to come with ABS but with the inclusion of rear wheel ABS in the new model, it will be safer than before.
At the heart, the 2026 Bajaj Pulsar 220F will house the same 220cc single-cylinder air-cooled petrol engine which generates max power of 20.6 bhp and highest torque of 18.5 Nm. The engine is paired to a 5-speed transmission. The ongoing model is priced at Rs 1.28 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The new 220F is likely to be more expensive due to fresh graphics and new features.

The next 4-6 months are going to be quite exciting for Bajaj Auto as it gears up to launch multiple new Pulsar models as well as the next-gen Chetak electric scooter. The company will also introduce downsized (350cc) Triumph and KTM motorcycles in the Indian market. So, expect a full product onslaught from the Pune-based homegrown two-wheeler brand in the coming months.
