The 2026 Aprilia Tuono 457 Special Edition, paying homage to the legendary 2006 Tuono 1000R, comes in Mamba Black and Puma Grey liveries
Aprilia India has launched the 2026 Tuono 457 Special Edition at a sticker price of Rs 3.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Maharashtra) in the country. It will be available in Mamba Black and Puma Grey colour schemes. The 2026 Aprilia Tuono 457 Special Edition bookings have commenced at select company showrooms across India. Rolled out on World Motorcycle Day, the 2026 Tuono 457 Special Edition pays tribute to the legendary 2006 Tuono 1000R. The current-gen model of the naked motorcycle was launched last year by John Abraham in the Indian market.
Apart from the new paint shades, the 2026 Tuono 457 Special Edition flaunts fresh and sharp decals while the brand logo has been redesigned too. Some of the notable features onboard the special edition model are aerodynamic flyscreen, adjustable brake levers, enhanced rider saddle, increased handlebar height, and refined suspension setup.
Speaking on the launch, Mr. Diego Graffi, Chairman and Managing Director, Piaggio Vehicles Pvt. Ltd., said: “The Special Edition Tuono 457 has been developed with a clear focus on enhancing rider comfort and everyday usability while preserving the high performance, precision and character that define Aprilia motorcycles. With the plethora of enhancements like the aerodynamic flyscreen, revised suspension setup, upgraded saddle, raised handlebar position and adjustable brake lever, the motorcycle is more comfortable and confidence-inspiring across urban rides and longer journeys.”
The new windscreen, created from a premium high-impact material with smoked finish, cleanly integrates into the aggressive streetfighter design. The elevated handlebar has been thoughtfully engineered for a more relaxed and upright posture. The softening of suspension ensures effective absorption of potholes and speed breakers, while factory recalibrated compression damping adapts quickly across diverse road surfaces. Preload adjustability at both ends is available as standard.
Powered by the same 457cc parallel-twin engine, the 2026 Aprilia Tuono 457 Special Edition comes with best in class power-to-weight ratio. It has top power of 46.9 bhp and peak torque of 43.5 Nm. Aprilia has also equipped the naked twin-cylinder motorcycle with ride-by-wire throttle, immobilizer, all-LED lighting, TFT digital instrument cluster, and traction control as standard features.
The 2026 Aprilia Tuono 457 Special Edition gets a 4-year warranty or 48000 KM (whichever is earlier). Some of the notable accessories available with the naked motorcycle are Passenger Seat Cover, USB Socket, Helmet Cable Lock, TPMS, Outside Vehicle Cover, Electronic Antitheft, Fork Sliders, Shorter Mudguard, Quick Shifter Up/Down, and Front Brake Pads Sintered.
