The 2025 Yamaha MT-03 has been unveiled in the global markets. Though it is not a thoroughly updated version, still the new bike comes with a handful of significant visual updates. The 2025 Yamaha MT-03 is expected to make its first public appearance in India at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo in January. The naked streetfighter rivals the likes of KTM 390 Duke, TVS Apache RTR 310 and BMW G 310 R in the Indian market. In this piece, we will talk about the top 3 updates that the new version comes with.
New Colour Schemes
The 2025 MT-03 gets a new Ice Storm paint shade. The white colourway on the body is complemented well by the blue stripes. In addition, the wheels also flaunt a blue colour. The ongoing India-spec MT-03 is offered in two colour choices namely Midnight Black & Gray and Cyan Blue. The new Ice Storm colour could also be introduced in India.
LCD Display
The bike boasts of an advanced and up-market LCD instrument cluster with striking features in the form of Bluetooth connectivity, Turn-by-turn navigation, and alerts related to phone calls and text messages. This particular update will keep the MT-03 on par with its counterparts in the segment.
Assist & Slip Clutch
Finally, the MT-03 is equipped with the much-needed assist and slip clutch which will minimize the efforts of the lever during gear shifts. Moreover, the slipper function will prevent the wheel from locking during rapid downshifting.
Mechanically, the 2025 Yamaha MT-03 continues to carry the same 321cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled petrol engine with top power of 41 bhp at 10,750 rpm and peak torque of 29.5 Nm at 9,000 rpm. The engine is linked to a 6-speed gearbox. Based on a diamond frame, it is suspended by USD forks at front and a swingarm unit at the rear. The braking duties are carried out by 298mm front disc and 220mm rear disc units as standard along with a dual-channel ABS.
Yamaha recently also revealed the NMax 125 Tech Max scooter in international markets. It has been learnt that this scooter will also be a part of Yamaha’s line-up at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 alongside the MT-03 and R3 in January.
