The 2025 FZ-X hybrid gains multiple new features which were missing from the ongoing model while no mechanical updates have been made in the bike.
Yamaha India has launched the 2025 FZ-X hybrid motorcycle at a price point of Rs 1.50 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) in the country. It has been equipped with multiple new features in the form of coloured TFT instrument cluster and turn-by-turn navigation among others. The 2025 Yamaha FZ-X hybrid motorcycle will be available in Matte Titan colour while the non-hybrid standard model can be availed in Dark Matte Blue and Metallic Black paint schemes at a sticker price of Rs 1.30 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The 2025 FZ-X hybrid boasts of a 4.2-inch fully-coloured TFT instrument cluster with Smartphone Bluetooth connectivity through the Y-Connect app. The riders get access to turn-by-turn (TBT) navigation via Google Maps along with real-time directions, navigation index, intersection details, and road names. The rest of the features have been carried over from the preceding model.

Extending this breakthrough to the FZ-X model felt like a natural next step. We are confident that adding hybrid power to the FZ-X model will further boost Yamaha’s appeal, particularly among riders who seek a practical yet premium riding experience.”
Flaunting a neo-retro design with metal body, the 2025 Yamaha FZ-X hybrid houses the iconic ‘Yamaha’ logo on the fuel tank. Some of the notable features onboard are Traction Control System (TCS), single-channel ABS, split seat setup with slip-resistant tuck and roll design, telescopic front suspension and 7-step adjustable Monocross rear suspension.

Powered by a 149 cc single-cylinder air-cooled petrol engine, it has max power of 12.2 bhp at 7250 rpm and peak torque of 13.3 Nm at 5500 rpm. The engine is paired with multiple advanced tech in the form of Smart Motor Generator (SMG) and Stop & Start System (SSS) to ensure quieter starts and battery-assisted acceleration. In addition, the hybrid motorcycle’s engine get automatically shut off at idle and it can be restarted by just pressing the clutch, thus improving the mileage.
