The 2025 TVS Ronin gets new colour schemes while the dual-channel ABS will be available mid-spec variant onwards
TVS Motor Company has launched the 2025 Ronin at a starting price of Rs 1.35 lakh (ex-showroom) in the Indian market. Being unveiled at the MotoSoul 2024 in December, it now features dual-channel ABS as standard safety feature from the mid-variant onwards. The 2025 TVS Ronin is introduced in two new colour schemes namely Glacier Silver and Charcoal Ember. It doesn’t get any other cosmetic or mechanical updates besides the new colours. The bike is at loggerheads with Royal Enfield Hunter 350, Honda HNess 350 and Yamaha FZ-X in India.
The 2025 Ronin carries the same 225.9 cc single-cylinder oil-cooled engine which pumps out top power of 20 bhp at 7750 rpm and peak torque of 19.93 Nm at 3750 rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox with an assist and slipper clutch as standard. It also features Glide through Technology (GTT) to ensure smooth low-speed riding.

Commenting on the launch, Mr. Vimal Sumbly, Head Business – Premium, TVS Motor Company, said, “TVS RONIN has redefined modern-retro motorcycling in the country and continues to embody the essence of #Unscripted motorcycling, empowering riders to explore unchartered paths with confidence and style. With the 2025 edition, we bring in a new palette of striking colours along with upgraded safety features and are excited to bring this refreshed model to our customers and look forward to their enthusiastic response as they experience the next chapter of the TVS RONIN’s journey.”
TVS Ronin rides on 17-inch 9-spoke alloy wheels which are shod with section 110/70 front and section 130/70 rear tubeless tyres. The braking duties are carried by 300 mm and 240 mm disc units at front and rear, respectively. Sitting on a double cradle split frame, it is suspended by a 41 mm upside-down front fork and rear mono-shock with 7-step adjustable preload.
The Ronin has a kerb weight of 160 kg while the fuel tank capacity stands at 14 litres. It has a seat height of 795 mm which is comfortable for even short-heighted riders. The ground clearance of the bike is 181 mm. The cruiser motorcycle comes with a fully digital and connected instrument console as standard.
The 2025 TVS Ronin will be available at authorized TVS dealerships across India, starting today. The company had showcased a plethora of new models at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 in January, which included the Jupiter CNG. We expect at least two new product launches from TVS this year in the Indian market, if not more.
