The 2025 TVS Jupiter 125 teaser indicates that it will be launched in the next few days in the Indian market with modern styling and advanced features.
TVS Motor Company has released the first teaser of the upcoming Jupiter 125 scooter in India. It is expected to launch in the coming few days with a cosmetic overhaul, new features and OBD-2B compliant engine. The Hosur-based two-wheeler brand had also introduced the updated Jupiter 110 last year in the Indian market. TVS Jupiter is the country’s second highest-selling scooter after the Honda Activa. The new model of the scooter is likely to come with a higher price than the current version which is priced between Rs 80,640-91,821 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The official teaser released on Instagram reads the caption, ‘Style. Power. Performance. Coming soon!’. It reveals the single-piece seat with rear pillion grab rail in a Cooper paint scheme of the upcoming 2025 Jupiter 125. The teaser further reveals the rear profile of the new scooter, which has been revamped with the inclusion of a new LED tail-lamp.

The 2025 TVS Jupiter 125 is expected to borrow most of the styling cues from the Jupiter 110 such as horizontally-stacked LED DRLs and slim LED turn indicators. It is believed to be retaining the signature elements seen on the present model such as front fuel filler cap, under-seat storage area, front petal disc brake and 12-inch wheels.
Some of the notable features expected on the 2025 TVS Jupiter 125 are Fully digital instrument cluster with TFT display, Follow-me-home headlamp, Hazard lights, Bluetooth connectivity, USB charging port and Turn-by-turn navigation. The Jupiter 110, launched last year, was equipped with a plethora of modern features and we expect this trend to continue with the new version of the 125cc scooter.

Mechanically, TVS will update the existing 125cc single-cylinder engine to meet the latest OBD-2B emission norms. The power output and torque performance are likely to be unchanged at 8 bhp and 10.5 Nm, respectively. The model with iGO Assist is expected to be more powerful with top power of 8.4 bhp and highest torque of 11.1 Nm. Both the versions will have a CVT gearbox at the helm.
The 2025 TVS Jupiter 125 will be at loggerheads with Hero Destini 125, Suzuki Access 125, Honda Activa 125 and Yamaha Fascino. The company is also readying the Jupiter CNG for the Indian market and it is expected to go on sale by the end of 2025 in our country. Unveiled as a concept at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo in Jan 2025, it will be the world’s first CNG powered scooter.
