The 2025 TVS Apache RTR 160 is offered with dual-channel ABS, red-colored alloy wheels and a OBD-2B compliant engine in the Indian market.

TVS Motor Company has launched the 2025 Apache RTR 160 at a sticker price of Rs 1.34 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) in the Indian market. Being claimed to be the country’s most powerful 160cc motorcycle, it comes equipped with dual-channel ABS, red-colored alloy wheels and a OBD-2B compliant engine. The 2025 TVS Apache RTR 160 will be available at all the company authorized dealerships across India from today onwards. The bike competes with the likes of Hero Xtreme 160R and Bajaj Pulsar N160 in the domestic market.

The 2025 TVS Apache RTR 160 retains all its existing features such as three ride modes (Sport, Urban and Rain), SmartXonnect with Bluetooth connectivity and Voice Assist. It will be available in two colour schemes namely Matte Black and Pearl White with red alloy wheels. The company has kept its sporty and race-inspired character intact with the new model as well.

Speaking about the launch, Mr. Vimal Sumbly, Head Business – Premium, TVS Motor Company, said, “The TVS Apache RTR 160 has consistently set benchmarks in its segment, evolving with every generation while staying rooted in Apache’s racing DNA. Mechanically, the 2025 TVS Apache RTR 160 is powered by a OBD-2B compliant 159.7cc air-cooled petrol engine which generates a best-in-segment power output of 15.8 bhp at 8750 rpm. It also delivers the highest torque of 13.85 Nm at 7000 rpm. Paired to a 5-speed gearbox, the bike has a segment-leading power-to-weight ratio.

Riding on a double cradle synchro stiff frame, it gets telescopic front forks and monotube inverted gas filled shox (MIG) with spring aid.

The bike rides on 17-inch front and rear wheels which are shod with 90/90 section and 110/80 section tyres, respectively. The braking duties are carried out by disc brakes at both the ends. Having a kerb weight of 137 kg, the 2025 Apache RTR 160 has a fuel tank capacity of 12 litres. The ground clearance and saddle height stand at 180 mm and 790 mm, respectively.
