2025 Triumph Speed Twin 900 Teased, India Launch Soon

The 2025 Triumph Speed Twin 900 will be launched in the coming days in the Indian market at a price around Rs 9 lakh (ex-showroom)

Triumph Motorcycles India has teased the 2025 Speed Twin 900 through a short video on its various social media channels across the country. The bike had its world premiere a couple of months back in October 2024. The India-spec 2025 Triumph Speed Twin 900 will get identical cosmetic and hardware related updates as the global model of the motorcycle. The current version of the Speed Twin 900 is retailed at a sticker price of Rs 8.79 lakh (ex-showroom) in the Indian market. The new bike is expected to attract a premium of at least Rs 30,000-50,000 over the ongoing iteration of the Speed Twin 900.

The 2025 Triumph Speed Twin 900 takes a lot of inspiration from the Speed Twin 1200 in terms of styling and it is sportier than before. It flaunts a modern-looking circular LED headlamp, short fenders, single-piece seat, dual-exhaust pipes and redesigned engine casings. The British two-wheeler brand has introduced three new paint schemes namely Phantom Black, Aluminium Silver, and Pure White.

The 2025 Triumph Speed Twin 900 comes with new Marzocchi USD front suspension and twin-shock absorbers at rear while the braking duty is performed by a 320 mm disc unit with radical calipers. The bike rides on 18-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheels with Michelin Road Classic tyres as standard.

The feature list is more extensive than before with the inclusion of multiple new features in the form of a new digital TFT instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation, traction control and lean-sensitive ABS. The saddle height has been increased from 765 mm to 780 mm – an enhancement of 15 mm. However, an optional seat measuring 760 mm is also available for the buyers. The bike also boasts of multiple ride modes namely Road and Rain.

2025 Triumph Speed Twin 900

Mechanically, the 2025 Triumph Speed Twin 900 is powered by the same 900cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin petrol engine which generates maximum power output of 65 bhp at 7,500 rpm and peak torque performance of 80 Nm at 3,800 rpm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox.

Meanwhile, in other news, Triumph will also launch the budget-friendly version of the Scrambler 400X in the Indian market in the first quarter of 2025. It has been spotted testing a few times with limited camouflage which suggests a launch is imminent.
