Based on the Speed Triple 1200 RS, it is limited to just 1200 units worldwide and it is not clear yet whether any units have been earmarked for India.
The 2025 Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RX has been unveiled and it will be exclusive to only 1200 units globally. Based on the Speed Triple 1200 RS, it is priced at £18,995 (Around Rs 22 lakh) with deliveries expected to commence from June 2025. Just so you know, the 2025 Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RS debuted earlier this year in March. The limited-edition model is presented in an exclusive Triumph Performance Yellow and Granite graphic scheme and white RX accents. It is still not known whether any units of the Speed Triple 1200 RX have been allocated for the Indian market.
The 2025 Speed Triple 1200 RX gets clip-on handlebars which are lower by 69mm and forward by 52mm as compared to the RS model. Even the footpegs are positioned higher by 14.5mm and further back by 25.5mm than the RS. These updates have been carried out to achieve better ergonomic levels and offer a better riding position. It also boasts of the new Akrapovič silencer with a titanium outer wrap and mounting bracket as standard fitment.
Sitting on an aluminum twin-spar frame, the 2025 Speed Triple 1200 RX also features an upgraded performance seat with RX logo embossed on it. The bike comes with a carbon fibre front fender and signature twin headlights while the rear wheel flaunts a Triumph Performance Yellow accent. The suspension duties are helmed by Ohlins Smart EC3 fully adjustable USD front forks and rear mono-shock absorber with Öhlins SD EC steering damper.
Some of the notable features on-board include Front Wheel Lift Control, Engine Braking Control, Brake Slide Control, Emergency Deceleration Warning, Triumph Shift Assist up and down Quickshifter, Optimised Cornering ABS, Switchable Optimised Cornering Traction Control and fully adjustable Cruise Control. As for braking, the 2025 Speed Triple 1200 RX is equipped with twin disc units at front and single disc at the rear. The front disc brake is packed with Brembo Stylema monobloc calipers as standard.
It is offered with five ride modes namely Rain, Road, Sport, Track, Rider. The 2025 Speed Triple 1200 RX also features a 5-inch TFT instrument cluster, which can be controlled by the 5-way joystick and backlit switches. The Smartphone can be paired with the TFT screen through My Triumph Connectivity System to access turn-by-turn navigation, phone alerts and music control. The ignition, steering lock and fuel cap can be locked/unlocked through keyless operation.
Tipping the scale at just 199 kg, the 2025 Speed Triple 1200 RX rides on 17-inch Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP V3 tyres. It is powered by the same 1160 cc 3-cylinder liquid-cooled engine which does duties on the 2025 Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RS. This engine generates max power of 181 bhp at 10,750 rpm and peak torque of 128 Nm at 8,750 rpm while paired to a 6-speed transmission with a slip & assist clutch.
