The 2025 KTM 390 Adventure X gets an array of features from the range-topping 390 Adventure model at an additional premium of Rs 12,000 in India.
KTM India has launched the 2025 390 Adventure X at a sticker price of Rs 3.03 lakh (ex-showroom) in the country. The ADV bike comes with several new features while there are no visual and mechanical updates given to the motorcycle. Being the most affordable variant in the KTM 390 Adventure range, it borrows multiple modern features from the range-topping 390 Adventure with the price also going up by Rs 12,000. The 2025 KTM 390 Adventure X will directly rival Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 in the Indian market.
Talking about the new features, the 2025 KTM 390 Adventure X gets cruise control as standard with cruise and speed limiter modes. Furthermore, it has been offered with three ride modes namely Street, Rain, and Off-road. The company has also included Cornering ABS (cABS) and Motorcycle Traction Control (MTC) in the ADV bike to make it a wholesome package for the buyers.

All the before mentioned features were earlier absent from the 390 Adventure X due to the lack of an IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit). However, they were introduced as standard with the top-end 390 Adventure model. Hence, it is likely that KTM has equipped the 2025 390 Adventure X with an IMU so that all these features can make their way in the bike.
With the inclusion of all these features, there is hardly any difference between the two motorcycles now. While the 390 Adventure rides on 21-inch spoke wheels with tubeless tyres, the 390 Adventure X boasts of a 19-inch front alloy wheel. Also, cornering traction control is still missing in the updated 390 Adventure X.

Mechanically, the 2025 KTM 390 Adventure X is still powered by the same 398.63 cc single-cylinder LC4c petrol engine which develops top power of 45.3 bhp at 8500 rpm and peak torque of 39 Nm at 6500 rpm. These figures are identical to the top-spec 390 Adventure. Some of the notable features include Quickshifter+, Ride-by-Wire throttle and Off-road ABS.
Meanwhile, in other news, KTM has also launched the global-spec 390 Enduro R in the Indian market at a price point of Rs 3.54 lakh (ex-showroom). It is around Rs 18,000 more expensive than the India-spec model which went on sale in April this year. The global-spec model comes with a different suspension setup for better off-roading.
