Both the 2025 KTM 390 Adventure S and Enduro R had their global premiere at the EICMA 2024 in Italy last month.
The 2025 KTM 390 Adventure S and Enduro R have been unveiled at the India Bike Week in Goa. The official bookings for the motorcycle duo starts from tomorrow across the country at KTM authorized dealerships. Both motorcycles had their global premiere at the EICMA 2024 in Italy. The 390 Adventure S will go on sale in Jan 2025 in the Indian market as is takes on the mighty Royal Enfield Himalayan 450. On the other hand, the 390 Enduro R is also expected to launch around the same time in the domestic market.
The 2025 390 Adventure S trim is packed with a plethora of striking features while the 2025 390 Enduro R misses out on most of the bells and whistles. The Adventure S was showcased in a mixed color scheme which comprised of orange, blue and white shades. It flaunted similar styling as the 390 Adventure R which we saw at the EICMA 2024 in November.
Based on a trellis frame, the 390 Adventure S is equipped with adjustable USD front forks and rear mono-shock unit. It rides on wire-spoke wheels of 21-inch at front and 17-inch at the rear, which are shod with Apollo Tramplr tyres. Just so you know, the 390 Adventure R, unveiled at the EICMA 2024 had a bigger rear wheel of 18-inch. Some of the other notable features include all-LED lighting, colored TFT instrument console, cruise control and dual-channel ABS.
Coming to the 390 Enduro R, it sheds a lot of equipment and by no means is a hardcore off-roader. It distinguishes itself from the Adventure S in terms of seat height, seat shape and handlebar positioning. The suspension setup as well as the wheels are identical on both the bikes. The instrument console is offered in LCD form while the ABS is switchable.
It has been confirmed that the motorcycle duo will be powered by the 399cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled petrol engine, borrowed from the Duke 390. The exact technical specs of the 2025 Adventure S and Enduro R will be revealed closer to the launch in Jan 2025. This engine generates maximum power of 45.3 bhp and highest torque of 39 Nm. Though KTM might retune/readjust the power output to suit the Enduro R.
The 2025 KTM 390 Adventure S and Enduro R will have a 6-speed gearbox as standard. The Enduro R price could be in the range of Rs 3.30 lakh to Rs 3.50 lakh (ex-showroom). However, the Adventure S, being the ADV variant, will be priced a bit higher.
