The 2025 Kawasaki Ninja 650 is the first 650cc model in the company portfolio to get the all-new digital TFT colour instrument cluster
Kawasaki India has launched the 2025 Ninja 650 at a sticker price of Rs 7.27 lakh (ex-showroom, India) in the country. Offered in a new Lime Green paint scheme, it is nearly Rs 11,000 more expensive than the outgoing model. The 2025 Kawasaki Ninja 650 rivals Triumph Daytona 660, priced at Rs 9.72 lakh (ex-showroom), in the Indian market. A few Kawasaki dealers, who still have the older model of the Ninja 650 in their inventory, are offering discounts of upto Rs 25,000 and hence bringing down the effective ex-showroom price of the motorcycle to Rs 6.91 lakh.
Though the older model of the Ninja 650 was also available in Lime Green colour, the FY25 version features a different livery within the same paint scheme. The Lime Green colourway with the new model has tinges of white, yellow, and black alongside the dominant Green shade. There are no visual updates in the motorcycle and it flaunts the same twin LED headlamp setup upfront.

Sitting on a steel trellis frame, the 2025 Kawasaki Ninja 650 has a dry weight of 178 kg. The bikes rides on 17-inch front and rear alloy wheels with Dunlop Sportmax Roadsport 2 tyres while suspended by 41 mm telescopic front forks and a preload-adjustable monoshock unit at the rear. The stopping power comes from 300 mm dual disc units at front while there is a 220 mm single disc brake at the rear.
Mechanically, the 2025 Ninja 650 is unchanged and continues to draw power from the 649cc twin-cylinder liquid-cooled engine which belts out top power of 67 bhp at 8000 rpm and highest torque of 64 Nm at 6700 rpm. The engine is connected to a 6-speed gearbox.

Kawasaki claims that it has installed a redesigned version of the windshield in the new bike which is positioned lower and at a more upright angle to offer better protection against winds. The 2025 Ninja 650 boasts of an all-new digital TFT colour instrument cluster which is first for a 650cc bike in Kawasaki portfolio. It can be linked to the rider’s Smartphone wirelessly through Bluetooth and a lot of features can be accessed via Kawasaki’s RIDEOLOGY THE APP.
The 2025 Kawasaki Ninja 650 is also equipped with Kawasaki’s advanced traction control system (KTRC) with two modes. It can also be completely turned off by the rider to suit the riding situation.
