The SP125 is the third Honda product to get the latest OBD2B compliant engine in the Indian market after the SP160 and Activa 125.
Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India has launched the 2025 Honda SP125 at a starting price of Rs 91,771 (ex-showroom, Delhi) in the country. The motorcycle is offered in two variants namely Drum and Disc with new colour schemes and an updated OBD2B compliant petrol engine. The bookings for the 2025 SP125 have already commenced at the company authorized dealerships across the Indian market as it has already reached the Honda showrooms. The bike competes against the likes of TVS Raider 125, Hero Xtreme 125R and Bajaj Pulsar N125 in India.
The 2025 Honda SP125 flaunts a newly-designed LED headlamp and taillamp. It also gets muffler cover in chrome, sporty shrouds at fuel tank and new graphics on the body. The bike can be availed in five paint schemes namely Pearl Igneous Black, Matt Axis Grey Metallic, Pearl Siren Blue, Imperial Red Metallic, and Matt Marvel Blue Metallic.
The 2025 SP 125 is equipped with an array of latest features in the form of 4.2-inch TFT instrument cluster, Bluetooth connectivity and USB Type-C charging slot. In addition, it also boasts of Honda RoadSync app with navigation and voice assist with the Disc variant which comes at a price point of Rs 1 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Mechanically, the 2025 Honda SP125 houses a 124cc single-cylinder engine which develops maximum power of 10.7 bhp and highest torque of 10.9 Nm while linked to a 5-speed transmission. The engine has been updated to meet the upcoming OBD2B emission norms. Honda has also introduced an idling stop system with the 2025 SP125, which helps in increasing the mileage by automatically switching off the engine at traffic lights.
