The 2025 Hero Glamour 125 will debut the first-in-segment cruise control feature besides the other premium bells and whistles in the Indian market.
Hero MotoCorp has announced the launch of 2025 Glamour 125 on August 19 in the Indian market. Touted as ‘India’s most futuristic 125cc’, it will come with a first-in-segment cruise control feature as confirmed by the spy images a few days back. The 2025 Hero Glamour will lock horns with Honda CB125 Hornet and TVS Raider in the domestic market. Presently, the Jaipur-based two-wheeler brand retails two more models in the 125cc segment of motorcycles in the form of Splendor and Xtreme 125R. As of now, Hero has a market share of 12.8 percent in the 111-125cc segment of bikes which is lesser than its arch rivals like Bajaj and Honda.
Talking about the 2025 Hero Glamour 125, it was spotted last month wearing camouflage. However, the spy images confirmed the inclusion of several segment-first features including cruise control. Currently, none of the Hero motorcycles – be it the now-discontinued Mavrick 400, be it the Xpulse 210 or be it the Karizma XMR – comes with cruise control and hence, it is rather surprising to see it debut in a commuter motorcycle.

Besides cruise control, the 2025 Glamour will borrow the coloured fully digital LCD display from the Xtreme 250R. The spy-shots also showed LED turn indicators and an updated switchgear in the motorcycle. The fuel tank lid, however, is carried over from the ongoing model. In addition, several signature elements will be retained in the form of the RSU telescopic front suspension, single-piece long seat, rear grab rail and saree guard.
We could see the cruise control feature making way to other Hero motorcycles as well in the coming months in a phased-wise manner. Generally, this feature is associated with high-end premium bikes with bigger engine capacity. However, Hero is all set to make this feature even more popular by offering it in the 2025 Glamour 125. This is also likely to compel its rival brands to introduce it in their future products too.

At the heart, it is likely to carry the same 124.7cc single-cylinder air-cooled petrol engine which returns maximum power of 10.7 bhp and peak torque of 10.6 Nm. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed transmission. Hero Glamour price starts at Rs 86,948 for the drum brake variant and goes as high as Rs 90,948 for the range-topping disc variant. The upcoming Glamour 125 with cruise control is expected to come at a higher price.
Recently, Hero MotoCorp made a bold announcement of launching two new 125cc motorcycles in the Indian market. Though we have information about the 2025 Glamour 125, the details of the second 125cc model are not available in public domain yet. The brand also stated that it will launch a new 440cc motorcycle, based on the Harley-Davidson X440, as the replacement of the recently phased out Mavrick 440 in India.
