Bajaj is developing the 2025 Dominar 400 that will be launched in the months to come. Expect fairly comprehensive updates to the sports cruiser…
So 400 is the new 200 for India! Bajaj is harping big on this particular segment and is firing motorcycles from all its associated brands. We have 400s from KTM, Husqvarna, Triumph and Bajaj.
Very recently, Bajaj introduced the biggest ever Pulsar. The Pulsar NS400 is the first Pulsar to adorn that near 400cc engine and comes at a price point which nobody had thought – for a motorcycle of this capacity. Apart from other models, Bajaj is now going back to the drawing board with its first 400 – the Dominar.
A company’s senior official has revealed that bikers can expect an updated Dominar in the market on which the company is currently working. No specific timeframe or details on the changes were revealed. But we can safely assume that the biggest exercise the sports cruiser should get should be weight loss. This could come from various areas – one of them being a slightly shorter wheelbase as well.
The new Dominar will definitely continue to follow the niche it is in and we expect various features from the NS400 to percolate – like traction control, ride by Wire and riding modes. Since Bajaj is standardizing its instrumentation on all motorcycles, we can also expect a similar cluster like the Pulsar NS400 on the Dominar. This will give it features like smartphone pairability, turn by turn navigation, etc. Although this being Bajaj’s flagship, it may get an even more comprehensive suite of features – and could even have a TFT unit. Then we also have the 250 that will go under the knife…
