The 2025 BMW R 1300 GS Adventure is expected to launch at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 on Jan 17 in New Delhi

BMW Motorrad India has teased the 2025 BMW R 1300 GS Adventure at its official Instagram handle. Unveiled globally last year in July, it is expected to launch in India in the next few days, apparently at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, at price ranging between Rs 25-26 lakh (ex-showroom). Based on the new R 1300 GS platform, it becomes the first BMW bike to boast of automatic clutch as standard feature. However, it remains to be seen whether the India-bound version will get all the features and colour schemes of the global-spec model.

The 2025 BMW R 1300 GS Adventure is offered with a 30 litre fuel tank, which is 11 litres more than the standard GS. Weighing at 269 kg, it is nearly 32 kg heavier than the R 1300 GS. The seat is height adjustable between 870-890 mm. However, buyers also have an option of a relatively lower seat as an accessory.

The global version of the 2025 R 1300 GS Adventure is available in four variants namely Standard, Triple Black, GS Trophy and Option 719 Karakorum. All the variants get four riding modes (Eco, Rain, Road and Enduro) as standard. Some of the other notable features include Dynamic Traction Control, Engine Brake Control, Hill-Hold Assist and Radar-based Adaptive Cruise Control.

It is the most powerful production-ready BMW boxer engine till date. The engine is coupled with a 6-speed gearbox which is located underneath the engine. As mentioned earlier, it gets Automated Shift Assistant (ASA) for fully automatic clutch functioning, albeit as an option.

The 2025 BMW R 1300 GS Adventure does a 0-100kmph sprint in merely 3.4 seconds while clocking a top speed of 200 kmph. It is equipped with a 6.5-inch full-color TFT multifunctional display, TPM, Heated grips, USB socket and 12 V on-board power socket, and Intelligent Emergency Call.
