2025 Bajaj Pulsar RS200 Spotted Ahead of Launch – Key Changes Explained

The 2025 Pulsar RS200 will not get extensive makeover in terms of styling, features and hardware, revealed the spy images.

We earlier told you that Bajaj Auto will launch a new motorcycle in the Indian market in the coming days. The Pune-based two-wheeler brand had also teased the upcoming bike with its exhaust note on various social media platforms and it was expected to be the 2025 Pulsar RS200. Now, ahead of its official launch, which is believed to be happening next week, the 2025 Bajaj Pulsar has been caught on camera for the first time, wearing heavy camouflage. It will also be showcased at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 on Jan 17.

Going by the spy images, the 2025 Pulsar RS200 is likely to get a broader rear tyre. It is highly possible that there will be a redesigned LED tail-lamp cluster with the registration plate being repositioned. The most prominent update would be in the form of an all-digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity, sourced from the Pulsar NS200.

The overall design is expected to be carried over from the ongoing version with the Bumblebee-inspired front face which flaunts split projector headlamp setup and eyebrow-like LED DRLs. The test mule was completely disguised and hence we could not spot any substantial styling update. The RSU telescopic front forks are also visible and it appears that they will be retained from the current model and USD forks, seen on the Pulsar NS200, will not make it to the standard feature list.

Based on a perimeter frame, the 2025 Bajaj Pulsar RS200 will continue with the clip-on handlebars, rear-tilted footpegs and split-seat setup. Though Bajaj might introduce new colour options and fresh graphics with the motorcycle.

Mechanically, the Pulsar RS200 will be powered by the same tried-and-trusted 199.5cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine which develops top power of 24 bhp and highest torque of 18.7 Nm. It will be paired with a 6-speed transmission. The liquid-cooled engine will be borrowed from KTM. We do not expect any other updates in terms of braking, suspension and wheels.

The 2025 Bajaj Pulsar RS200 price could be slightly more than the present model which is retailed at Rs 1.74 lakh (ex-showroom) in the Indian market. It will lock horns with Yamaha R15 V4, KTM RC 200, TVS Apache RTR 200 4V, Suzuki Gixxer SF 250, and Hero Xtreme 200S in the country. Stay tuned for more updates on the same.
