The 2025 Bajaj Pulsar RS200 was showcased to a few dealers before the official launch and hence, it got leaked on the web
Bajaj Auto has been teasing a new RS motorcycle for the last few days in the Indian market. Now, the said Pulsar RS model in question has been leaked on the web ahead of its launch. It has been learnt that the new bike is the 2025 Bajaj Pulsar RS200 and it will be launched tomorrow in the country. Apparently, the motorcycle was leaked when it was being showcased to a select few dealers of Bajaj Auto. The leaked pics show the new Pulsar RS200 with a new tail-lamp design and coloured TFT instrument console.
Going by the spy video doing rounds on the Internet, the 2025 Bajaj Pulsar RS200 gets a handful of cosmetic updates. It appears that no mechanical change is being carried out. The biggest visual update is the new tail-lamp cluster which now flaunts two separate units on either side. The indicators and tail-lamp are integrated into a single unit, akin to the BMW and Harley-Davidson motorcycles.
The 2025 Bajaj Pulsar RS200 also features a new coloured LCD display which has been borrowed from the Pulsar NS400Z. It offers seamless connectivity of Smartphone through Bluetooth with bells and whistles like turn-by-turn navigation, call alerts and other notifications. It is not confirmed but the new Pulsar RS200 could also boast of riding modes, as we have seen with the recent crop of Pulsar motorcycles including the NS400Z.
Bajaj could also introduce some fresh colour schemes with the new Pulsar RS200. Just so you know, Bajaj Pulsar RS200 has been on sale for the last 10 years or so and it has not received any cosmetic makeover in all these years. The brand made a few updates at times to adhere with the latest emission norms enforced by the Union government.
The existing Pulsar RS200 is priced at Rs 1.74 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) and the new model is expected to be more expensive than this due to the addition of new features. It will be up against the likes of TVS Apache RTR 200 4V, Yamaha R15 V4, Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 and KTM RC 200 in the Indian market.
The 2025 Bajaj Pulsar RS200 bookings have been started by a few dealers unofficially at a token payment of Rs 10,000 across the country. The bike will continue with the same 199.5cc liquid-cooled engine which develops top power of 24 bhp and peak torque of 18.7 Nm while linked to a 6-speed transmission.
