2025 Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z Launch Price Rs 1.92 Lakh – Details

The 2025 Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z is nearly Rs 8,000 more expensive than the current model due to the mechanical updates carried out by the brand.

Bajaj Auto has finally launched the 2025 Pulsar NS400Z at a sticker price of Rs 1.92 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) in the Indian market. The company claims that it has made substantial mechanical updates in the new motorcycle on the basis of the customer feedback. The 2025 Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z is relatively more powerful and faster than the preceding model. However, no visual makeover has been given to the new iteration of the brand’s flagship motorcycle and it will be available in the same colours as before.

First things first, the 2025 Pulsar NS400Z will ride on Apollo Alpha H1 radial tyres which replace the existing model’s bias-ply MRF units. In addition, the rear tyre is wider than before with 150 section as compared to 140 section of the outgoing model. The new motorcycle gets sintered front brake pad which according to Bajaj has reduced the stopping distance by 7 percent.

It boasts of four ride modes in the form of Road, Off-Road, Rain and Sport. The Sport mode has been tweaked to achieve a better throttle response than before, claims Bajaj. However, the rest of the three riding modes remain the same. The fuel tank capacity is carried over from the previous model at 12 litres. Tipping the weighing scale at 174 kg, the 2025 Pulsar NS400Z has a saddle height of 805 mm.

At the heart, it has the same KTM-sourced 373cc single-cylinder powerplant, albeit with more power. This engine now develops top power of 42.4 bhp at 9500 rpm as compared to the preceding model’s 39.4 bhp at 9000 rpm. Hence, apart from increasing the power output, the redline has also shot up to 10700 rpm. The torque performance, though, remains untouched at 35 Nm.

With increase in power, the performance of the 2025 Pulsar NS400Z has improved significantly as it does the 0-60 kmph sprint in merely 2.7 secs, which is .05 quicker than before. In fact, the 0-100 kmph acceleration time has also improved by 1.1 secs as it touches the 100 kmph mark from standstill in just 6.4 secs as compared to the ongoing version’s 7.5 secs. The top speed has also gone up from 150 kmph to 157 kmph.

Despite all the mechanical updates, the 2025 Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z retains its mileage figures of 28 kmpl. It also becomes the first-ever Bajaj motorcycle to come equipped with a bi-directional quickshifter which according to the company is a clutchless full-throttle gear shifting system for both upshifts and downshifts. The radiator cowl has been restyled for improved heat dissipation.
