2024 Yamaha FZ comes in fresher color shades and updated graphics and stickers. However, nothing has been done to the engine or performance…
The FZ was once an aspirational motorcycle. It brought a lot of style (and that famous 140 mm rear tyre) to the 150cc motorcycle segment. However, with time the handsome motorcycle has lost its charm. Mistake not as it still looks fairly bulky but it is no match in terms of performance to the current crop of rivals it has.
Starting new year, Yamaha has tried to brought some freshness to the complete FZ range – that includes the standard FZ models, flashier FZ-S and the retro FZ-X.
2024 FZ
The standard model has received a new color Matte Cyan. It is listed with Metallic Black on the website and both the models are priced at Rs 1,16,500 ex-showroom Delhi.
2024 FZ-S
In order to not lose customers, Yamaha is selling both the version 3 as well as version 4 of the FZ-S in the market. The FZ-S v3 has received a new shade Matte Grey which has been priced at Rs 1,21,700.
The newer FZS V4 Deluxe gets three shades Racing Blue, Majesty Red as well as Matte Black and it has a price tag of Rs 1,29,700.
2024 FZ-X
The retro version of the FZ range – the X – has also been updated with a new shade called as Matte Titan. It sits at the top of the line-up at Rs 1,37,200.

Yamaha Goes Crazy; Launches New YZF-R3 at Astronomical ₹4.65 Lac
Aside the new colors, the complete FZ range remains unchanged in terms of mechanicals and features. It retains the same 149cc, single cylinder motor that pumps out 12.4 PS of peak power and 13.3 Nm of max torque.
Colors and styling has never been FZ’s problem – however, it deserves a more powerful engine that can fight with the current crop of motorcycles in this space.
