Along with the elder sibling Svartpilen 401, Bajaj has also launched the 2024 Vitpilen in India, however, it comes the smaller 250cc format. It must be noted that, Bajaj used to sell the Huskies in India only with the 250cc engines will now.

The Vitpilen 250, kind of, gets re-positioned as a more acceptable roadster – from a cafe racer genre it was till the last generation. It sports a higher set handlebar and the overall rider seating posture has also been made more neutral. It is not committed like before. Other minor changes also hint towards Husky changing the positioning of this motorcycle, and probably the Vitpilen line-up overall.

Aside this, there are various practicality bits that Husqvarna has made in the new model. The ground clearance has grown from 152 mm to 177 mm. Seat height for both rider (22 mm reduction) as well as pillion (30 mm lower) has decreased. More importantly, the seat length has increased by 100 mm making it more liberating than the older-gen model.

The 2024 Vitpilen 250 comes with the new liquid cooled SOHC motor of the 250 Duke that churns 31 hp of power and 25 Nm of max torque. A lot of other stuff like the chassis, braking system, etc has also been carried over from the KTM sibling as well.
