Yamaha has announced the launch of the new 2023 MotoGP version of its most powerful scooter – Aerox in India. Like other models, the special edition of Aerox comes with Yamaha’s MotoGP livery ie – black colored body with blue decals and Monster Energy logos.
The other update is the inclusion of class-D headlamps, that should be brighter than before. Yamaha has priced the Aerox MotoGP edition at Rs 1,48,300 ex-showroom Delhi which is a premium of Rs 1500 over the standard version that is available in four colors – Metallic Black, Racing Blue, Grey Vermillion and Silver.
There is no other change to the special edition and it continues with the powerful liquid cooled 155cc engine from the R15 range and produces 15 PS of peak power and 13.9 Nm of max torque. The new model is OBD2 compliant and comes with features like Traction control, VVA and standard hazard lights.

Despite being a costly scooter, Aerox has received a pretty good response in the market suggesting that there is demand for more powerful, sportier scoots. The Aerox MotoGP edition will be available for a limited period only.
