2021 Bonneville Bobber Launched at 11.75 Lakh; Gets Useful Changes

Bonneville Bobber BS6 price hike is a very significant Rs 1.50+ Lakh. But it does come with some pretty useful updates…

Triumph has expanded its Bonneville line-up in India by bringing back its Bobber version. The Bonneville Bobber has been brought in after over 1 year of hiatus. The updated version has got some useful changes that make the motorcycle a better package than before.

Apart from styling related minor changes, the 2021 Bonneville Bobber gets the much needed bigger 12 liter fuel tank – up from a puny little 8 liter capacity of the older version. There is a fatter, 16 inch tyre at the front now which replaces the 19 incher of the older model. Then, there are two rotors at the front in place of one, which should provide better anchorage. Adding to the overall appeal are those 47 mm front forks.

The model continues with the same 1200cc, high torque twin cylinder engine with a 270 degree firing interval. It now produces slightly lesser 78 PS of peak power at 6100 rpm and 106 Nm of max torque at 4000 rpm. However, Triumph says that the new model is now more responsive and its torque curve has also been improved.

Key features of the beautiful looking single seater include ride by wire, two ride modes (Rain and Road), adjustable riding position, LED indicators and LED headlamp. There are changes to the instrumentation as well.
