Auto Expo 2020: Suzuki Unveils Intruder BS6 – No 250 Yet!

Along with others, Suzuki has also updated its Intruder cruiser to the upcoming Bharat Stage 6 emission norms. The 2020 model was showcased at the ongoing Auto Expo in Noida.

The new Intruder produces 13.6 PS of peak power at 8000 rpm and 13.8 Nm of max torque at 6000 rpm from its 155cc, air-cooled engine. In comparison, the older variant churned 14.8 PS of power and 14 Nm of torque at the same rpms respectively. This means that the Intruder loses 1.2 PS of power and 0.2 Nm of torque in the process. Further, at a weight of 149 kg, it also gets heavier by 3 kilograms.

Surprisingly, it does not get any feature additions, not even a new colour in the palette. It continues to be offered in three shades of Metallic Matte Titanium Silver, Metallic Matte Black/Candy Sonoma Red and Glass Sparkle Black/Metallic Matte Titanium Silver.

It continues with features like single channel ABS, LED tail lamp, bulky modern cruiser looks and digital instrumentation. Prices have not been revealed but we expect them to be only marginally higher than the current Intruder BS4 which costs Rs 1,08,162 ex-showroom Delhi. Launch is expected in the first half of next month.

Unfortunately, there is no Intruder 250 for now and this is all what we will have to live with.
