Hero MotoCorp will foray into the electric motorcycle segment with the debut of two new concept models at the EICMA 2025 in Milan, Italy
Hero MotoCorp will hold the world premiere of two electric motorcycles on Nov 4 at the EICMA 2025 in Milan, Italy. The company has teased two electric bikes in concept form at its official Instagram handle, which are likely to go on sale next year in the Indian market. Presently, the home-grown two-wheeler brand retails two electric scooters namely Vida V2 and Vida VX2 in India. Now, Hero will foray into the electric motorcycle segment which already has several worthy challengers in the form of Ola Roadster X, Revolt RV400 and Oben Rorr. Lets talk about the 2 upcoming Hero Vida electric bikes in detail.
1. Hero Vida Project VXZ
Earlier teased as Concept Ubex in a now deleted Instagram post, Hero Vida Project VXZ is a naked streetfighter model. Though presented as a concept, it looks production-ready in the images shared by the company on its Instagram handle. The Vida VXZ electric motorcycle flaunts projector headlight upfront with signature LED DRL. Riding on 5-spoke alloy wheels, it also boasts of split-seat setup and split rear grab rails.
The teaser images also reveal the inclusion of disc brakes at both the ends. We can also spot a beefed up fuel tank and wider handlebar. Though it is not confirmed officially yet by Hero, we can expect the Vida VXZ to come equipped with a TFT instrument cluster with turn-by-turn navigation, multiple ride modes and connected features. It is likely to come with a single-channel ABS as standard safety feature.

Hero Vida VXZ could be rolled out with a belt-drive system, mid-mounted electric motor and battery pack positioned in place of the conventional petrol engine. The suspension duties are carried by USD front forks and rear monoshock. The battery pack capacity and range on a single charge are not revealed yet. The Vida VXZ, in all likelihood, could launch in early 2026.
2. Hero Vida Ubex Concept
The Ubex concept has been teased as an electric off-roading motorcycle. As compared to the VXZ, which appears to be in near-production form, the Ubex looks more of a concept. The exposed rear subframe, higher front fender and split-seat setup are some of the design highlights of the Ubex concept as it previews an adventure electric motorcycle.

Since it is still a concept model, we can expect the Ubex concept to go on sale during the festive season of 2026 in the Indian market. It would take at least 8-10 months for the company to start its production and launch it in the country.
