We are just a few days away from bidding adieu to 2025 and welcome the new year. As we inch closer to 2026, we are going to witness several new motorcycle launches in the Indian market. The first month itself happens to be quite exciting for the bikers as two highly-anticipated motorcycle models are confirmed to go on sale in Jan 2026. In this piece, we will talk in detail about the 2 upcoming bikes launching in Jan 2026 in India.

1. Royal Enfield Bullet 650

Royal Enfield Bullet 650, having made its global debut at the EICMA 2025 in Italy, will finally launch in January 2026 in the Indian market. It will be positioned below the Classic 650 in the brand’s portfolio with a starting price around Rs 3.50 lakh (ex-showroom). The Bullet 650 will be offered in two colours namely Canon Black and Battleship Blue.

Riding on 19-inch front and 18-inch rear wire-spoke wheels, the Bullet 650 gets traditional ‘Bullet’ elements such as eardrop fuel tank with hand-painted pinstripes, raised handlebars, 3D winged badges, single-step up bench seat, traditional nascelle, upright riding stance, chrome-studded dual exhaust pipes and rear grab handle. Some of the notable features onboard include dual-channel ABS, semi-digital instrument cluster with LCD display and USB type-C charging slot.

At the heart, the bike houses the tried-and-trusted 648cc parallel-twin petrol engine which generates max power of 46.4 bhp at 7250 rpm and peak torque of 52.3 Nm at 5650 rpm. The engine is coupled with a 6-speed gearbox. It will be the company’s seventh 650cc model in the Indian market after the Interceptor, Continental GT, Shotgun, Bear, Super Meteor and Classic.

2. BMW F 450 GS

The middleweight adventure motorcycle from BMW was earlier supposed to launch on Dec 19 at the 2025 India Bike Week. However, now it has been scheduled to launch in January 2026 in the Indian market as series production has already begun at TVS factory in Hosur, Tamil Nadu. Several company dealers have started taking bookings for the F 450 GS at a token payment of Rs 50,000/- across the country.

Equipped with 19-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheels, BMW F 450 GS boasts of several premium features such as 6.5-inch TFT instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity, Ride Modes (Rain, Road, Enduro, and Enduro Pro), Dynamic Traction Control (DTC), Easy Ride Clutch (ERC), Dynamic Brake Control (DBC), Dynamic Brake Control (DBC) and ABS Pro. It is powered by a 420cc twin-cylinder water-cooled engine which pumps out 47 bhp and 43 Nm with a 6-speed gearbox.
