Kawasaki’s naked motorcycles from the Z family are possibly the best things to have happened to mankind, specially the bad-ass Z1000! While the mid and litre class Kawasakis usually are a game for the fortunate few, the smallest it has gotten here in India is the Z250 till now. In a new update, the word on the street is that Kawasaki might soon be gifting the Thai market a Z125!
Yes, a baby Z series motorcycle by Kawasaki is soon going to be traversing the streets! The spy picture shared by the folks at Motorival reveal that the bike gets a tank shroud and single head lamp inspired from the bigger Zees. The rear suspension and underbody short exhaust though show strong inspirations from the ER-6n (also available in India). Colour options pictured here include grey and signature green.
The bike also gets meaty upside down forks upfront, front and rear petal discs and interestingly a forward inclined almost horizontal engine! The broad tyres make the motorcycle look beautiful.
While no output figures have been revealed, we expect it to be a performance oriented motor. This Z125 may compete with Honda MSX 125. Yamaha already sells the faired R125 and MT 125 internationally in this space. Can we expect the surprise from Kawasaki at the upcoming Tokyo Motor Show?
