Here’s a detailed list of motorcycles and scooters launching in the Indian market in the remaining five months (Aug-Dec) of 2026
We are in the latter half of 2026 and as there are roughly five more months before this year comes to an end, we are likely to witness a plethora of new launches in the two-wheeler industry. This will include scooters, motorcycles and EVs from the various leading auto brands in the Indian market. In this piece, we have listed the 10 upcoming motorcycles and scooters launching in the last five months of 2026 in India.
1. 2026 Ducati Monster V2
Sitting on a monocoque chassis, the 2026 Monster V2 will be launched on Aug 10, 2026 in India. It will be powered by the new 890cc engine which replaces the 937cc unit of the preceding model, albeit with no substantial changes in power and torque figures. The 2026 Ducati Monster V2 will be around 4 kg less in weight than the outgoing model. The naked superbike will flaunt a bigger fuel tank design with unchanged capacity of 14 litres.
2. New-Gen Bajaj Pulsar 125
Recently spotted undisguised at a company dealership, it will be launched on Aug 12, 2026 with updates, modern features and a new engine in the Indian market. The double-cradle frame will be replaced with a single-downtube setup while the dual-shock rear suspension will be axed in favour of a new monoshock unit. A few other handful of updated will be known during the launch event, which is just a few days away.
3. 2026 Bajaj Pulsar N160
It will be launched alongside the new-gen Pulsar 125 on Aug 12, 2026 in our country. Recently, it was teased via the official Instagram handle of Bajaj Pulsar. The 2026 Pulsar N160 will come with a redesigned LED DRL upfront, fully-coloured LCD instrument cluster and Bluetooth connectivity with turn-by-turn navigation. As compared to the new-gen Pulsar 125, it will come with subtle upgrades and not a radical overhaul.
4. Yamaha R2
Yamaha R2 is all set to debut on Aug 27, 2026 in the Indian market. The brand had trademarked the ’YZF-R2′ moniker last year in the Indian market. The fully-faired sportsbike will be designed, developed and manufactured entirely in India. It could be priced between Rs 2 lakh and Rs 2.20 lakh (ex-showroom) in our country. The local production at the Chennai facility will ensure an aggressive price as the R2 will be sold alongside the R15 in India.
5. Ather Konarc
Ather’s all-new family electric scooter has been christened as Konarc while it launches on Aug 29, 2026 at the Annual Community Day in the Indian market. The upcoming mass-market Ather electric scooter will be priced between Rs 1-1.25 lakh (ex-showroom), confirmed CEO Tarun Mehta. Ather Konarc will be based on the low-cost EL platform while equipped with an onboard charger, 14-inch front wheel and Advanced Electronic Braking System (AEBS).
6. Simple Arrive
Simple Arrive, the family electric scooter, will be launched on Sep 2, 2026 in our country. It will be offered with LED headlamp, flat single-piece seat, front disc brake, dual-shock rear suspension, centre stand, and a TFT instrument console. Simple Arrive electric scooter will directly rival Ather Rizta, TVS iQube and River Indie in the Indian market. More details will be out as we inch closer to the launch.
7. Hero Xoom 160 VX
Hero MotoCorp will launch a highly affordable base variant of the Xoom 160 in the Indian market. Likely to go on sale in the coming weeks, it will miss out on multiple premium features, which are available in the top-end ZX trim. The Xoom 160 VX could come with a CBS (Combi Braking System) as standard in place of the single-channel ABS seen in the ZX grade. It could be priced around Rs 1.30 lakh (ex-showroom), which is around Rs 18,000 less than the top-end XZ trim.
8. Royal Enfield Himalayan 440
The all-new Himalayan 440 will be introduced in Sep 2026 in the domestic market in India. It will combine the design language of the Himalayan 411 with the technical specs of the Scram 440, including the engine and hardware. Internally codenamed as D4G, RE Himalayan 440 will be quite cheaper as compared to the Himalayan 450 which comes at a starting price of Rs 3.20 lakh (ex-showroom) in our market.
9. Honda ADV160
Honda recently unveiled the ADV160 E85 flex-fuel at an event in New Delhi. Now, it has been learnt that the maxi-scooter will be launched around Sep-Oct 2026 during the festive season of Diwali. Honda ADV160 E85 flex fuel, capable of running on ethanol blended petrol ranging from 20 percent (E20) to 85 percent (E85), will be locally manufactured in India. It will directly rival Hero Xoom 160 and Yamaha Aerox 155 in our market.
10. Honda CB500
Unveiled alongside the ADV160 a few days back in our country, it will be locally produced in India. Honda CB500 will be introduced in three trims namely Alloy, Spoke tubeless and Spoke tubeless with graphics. Inspired by the legendary CB750, it will be powered by an all-new 501cc single-cylinder air/oil-cooled engine while priced around Rs 2.75.2.90 lakh (ex-showroom). The roadster is likely to go on sale in Oct-Nov 2026 in the Indian market.
