Just before the festive season, Yamaha has yet again launched new variants of their flagship bikes, FZ-S and Fazer. FZ and Fazer have been the company’s mainstays in terms of sales ever since they were launched in 2008.
The new edition of these bikes are launched in new battle green color along with yellow colored complementing graphics. From the pics that Yamaha has shared, the silencer cover as well as the rear grab rail carry the green color themes apart from the front mudguard and fairing extension.
These are just cosmetically enhanced editions and there are no mechanical changes done to these bikes. Both FZ-S and Fazer are powered by a 153cc air cooled single cylinder engine that pumps out 14bhp of peak power at 7500rpm and a maximum torque of 13.6Nm at 6000rpm. The company says that they will promote the new special editions aggressively via TV/Print and web.

It is through these regular cosmetically enhanced special editions, Yamaha continues to add newness and freshness to their FZ series of motorcycles. But we urge Yamaha to launch the long time speculated 250cc that has been a point of real interest among the motorcycling enthusiasts in the country.
