Japanese two wheeler manufacturer Yamaha has launched the all new commuter segment motorcycle the YBR 110 yesterday in NewDelhi. The bike carries a reliable four stroke 106 cc engine with a four speed gear box.

Speaking to the press Mr.Yukimine Tsuji Yamaha India Motor Chief Executive Officer and MD said that they were studing the Indian entry level segment commuter market for quite some time and after extensive research this bike has been finally modeled satisfying the daily Indian commuter with the mileage quotient in mind.

The bike is priced at Rs.41,000 which is pretty close to all it’s competitors from the same 110 cc segment. Whether the bike is a hit or not? The answer lies in the Indian commuter’s mind!

I am desperately waiting for Honda CB Twister review!!
it looks like ALBA with new name
Yet again a flop from Yamaha commuter segment.
THE LOOK SUCKS COMPLETELY !!! Cant believe its the creation from the same company who introduced superb R15 and FZ !!!!!
I really dont want to comment much about this bike. Libero->G5->Alba->YBR110. Would they just stop these and start only from the Gladiator and move upwards for god’s sake. Let HH/Bajaj/TVS compete for 100cc commuters. Yamaha, pls dont spoil your brand image yourself.
Yamaha can launch 75CC vehicle with 6 gears [ I recall BSA Bond / Kawasaki SX Endura ] Also Enfield Explorer [ Which is 75CC vehicle with Alloy wheels lauched 20 years ago ],
Note: Explorer was 75CC vehicle with Alloy wheels , Double Cradle frame ,
If I am Auto Engginer of Company [ I will milk out money and name by launching vehicle with 75CC Engine , 6 Gears , Disk Breaks for Front and REar , Self Start , 100W Head lamps , With Chain cover , Rectangular Swing arm , Double Cradle Frame. [ Optional Sports Handle Bar , Gas filled Shocks , 130 mm Drum breaks , Water / Oil Cooled Engine ]
Expected more from Yamaha
Why do you keep doing this to yourself, Yamaha?
It would have been better had you done a FZ new model instead…
Plz accept defeat and surrender to HH and Bajaj… (and now TVS too!)
It’s unbelievable to see these things being launched in as growing and as big a market as India, in spite of the fact that all these Japanese motorcycle companies are making huge losses over all. Coming from Yamaha, big big surprise! Big Big blooper!
Excellent 100 cc bike, with premium styling, just the silencer/smokepipe says it all. the styling is good with soft broad seats for that category. yamaha, you gave what all a commuter needs. i found rear grab rail to be changed it really looks bad or even worst to say.
I am desperately waiting for Yamaha YBR review!!
i like it. it has a very smooth ride as compare to hh splendour, or bajaj. it does’nt vibrates above 60. very nice YES YAMAHA.
This bike is actually heavy and big. But not fat as passion pro. Both shares the same mileage around 55-60. Performance is just lag. We can sort it out with some small modifications, no problem. Its an underrated, different looking, trustworthy machine but nothing much special about it. Good ride quality with no vibrations and harshness, If one needs uniqueness can try this one but not for mileage and performance unless things be done unofficially.
Overall very decent entry to 100cc segment but one have to be utter low class to gain ground in this segment in India. More People need big big mileage, but cheap cheap machine something that bajaj is giving. Yamaha should concentrate more starting from 125cc to upwards.
