Hi,

I am looking for a bike that has good suspension, gives comfort on bummpy road conditions as I am suffering from back pain. Secondly, bike should give reasonable mileage.

Please suggest which bike I can buy.

If you want good mileage the only make is bajaj. The new discover 125 is reportedly giving good mileage 75kmpl and its cheap only 52000/- but be aware about the reliability issues with bajaj. 2 out of 10 bike will give you problems. The next only cost effective bike is SZ150 its price is same as SS125 but mileage is 47kmpl. Honda shine is 56000/- will give you good mileage 50-55kmpl and a very good pickup and acceleration but vibrates above 55kmph. I suggest you cut down your mileage and go for a better performing, reliable bike. I suggest you GS150, Old unicorn(if available), SS125, SZ. Never go for passion pro its giving only 55-60kmpl, bad performance with high cost 54500/- in Chennai.

Well Amit, I am replying you after a long time becaiuse i hav drove fro about 40,000 kms of my XCD 125 and no problems reported till date. Still a decent mileage of 80+ in city and i just changed Oil Filters,Spark Plugs and regular oil changes, dats it. Bikes do not depend on the company, it depends how u maintain them.

those who looking to buy an 125cc bike something around 50,000 to 55-56000 should seriosly consider bajaj discover 135cc and xcd 135cc bcause these 2 bikes are having an aditional 10cc and the prices are same as compared with 125cc bikes.the xtra 10 cc helps to generate xtra acceleration without compromising with the milage thanks to the dts-si tecnology which helps to burn fuel more efficiently……price is around 50 to 58 thousand(appox) including all paperworks.

Who told you that the ex showroom price of Zeus is 53,250???
Its on road price is 50k(with self start and alloy wheels).SO ex showroom price would be around 45k.Study the price well before posting.

Do you think that HH glamour and honda shine are better than Zeus?
They dont even have 5 gears like zeus.So vibration will be high in HH or Honda bikes.

Hi,

I have HONDA SHINE using since 2yrs, found that the bike needs improvement in terms of Shock absorbers whice are very weak. Otherwise mechanically, it has BEST Engine compared to other company bikes.
