Vibration
The rtr 180 Vibrates like a chicken but that is only btwn 55-65kmph. 70 and above and it transforms into a perfect race machine.

Looks
Although not the best in the market, It is one among the best. and its white color is unique n i’ve seen ppl glare at it at signals and pocket roads.

Gear Shift
Not the smoothest but the RTR is not a comfy bike. the gears are designed and tested in Austarlia for rough use. U can play with the gear lever like a toy and it still wont result in wearing out/cranky sound like some of the Pulsars and Hunks i’ve seen

lastly RTR = Racing Throtle Response…. its no family bike. Guys plz dont complain on comfort coz we’r discussing one of the rough/tough bikes in the market.

@killer I strongly don’t agree with you. Apache RTR 180 is a sports bike and you have to take care of it to get its full performance.

Yes it has vibration issues which we can’t do anything much but regarding gear shift probs.. TVS always recommends its own oil but it doesn’t mean you should only use it. I use Shell oil which is meant for sports bike & i get amazing performance.

Stock tyres are not good, i agree with you . But batteries-I never faced any issues with batteries till now (after 2 years 6 days). Please check ur batteries, it may be faulty battery.

TVS service in bangalore is amazing . Sorry to hear about bad service in delhi region…..

Apache RTR 180 sucks…..I am an owner of RTR 180…agreed it’s a powerfull machine..it has vibration problem,,(GEAR SHIFT problem//could be because of 20W30 oil that TVS recomends) TVS stock tyres and stock batteries sucks….TVS service to it’s customers is very bad….I am talking about Delhi region….spare parts are usually out of stock…..anyone who likes RTR go for RTR Fi 160

Hi All,

There seems to be a problem with my RTR 180. From the day of purchase the bike jerks initially for 4-5 km. as if the petrol got over. Now third service is completed but still i face the same problem. I asked the service station mechanic and they say my bike is in perfect condition…Can anybody help me on this issue…

Not every RTR experience the Vibration problem… my friend had one Black RTR..which is so smooth at the speed btw 50-65…

ya there is solution for your Vib problem…… if you seriouly approach your service station regarding this issue they will make it clear…. Me to had the same problem with my white 180 RTR which just crossed 4k kms… i had give my bike twice to service centre for rectifying the Vibration problem at 50-70 Kmh.. in first attempt there were no change.but in second time they did some tuning and Vibration has reduced to a large extent (almost clear)…
