TVS Latest 125 cc Bike

India’s fourth largest two wheeler manufacturer, TVS Motors will launch a new 125cc motorcycle to boost its motorcycle sales in 2012. The latest motorcycle from TVS is expected to hit the showrooms in the month of July or August. The company aims to regain its lost market share in motorcycle segment with the launch of this new 125cc bike. In the financial year 2011-12, TVS Motors lost its third position to HMSI (Honda Motors and Scooters India ltd.)

Mr. HS Goindi, president marketing, TVS Motor said in an interview with CNBC TV 18 that, they are coming out with an executive level bike with 125cc engine, which will be launched around July-August. He also said that the new motorcycle will fill up their motorcycle portfolio and will help them to grow their motorcycle business in India. He admitted that Jive did not perform as per the expectation due to relatively lower market size.

It seems that TVS Motors will launch Radeon 125DX motorcycle which was displayed at Auto Expo 2012. The motorcycle looks decent and it comes with disc brake. It is expected that, the motorcycle will have class leading fuel efficiency and very competitive price tag.

This is the design what people here wants. You just look at the roads, you can find more of these craps than anything else.

Such bikes wont help sales, they need a 200 and 250 at the top and a good 100 and 125 at the bottom. The Apache will take care of everything in between.

What they should have done with this bike was to make changes to the graphics a bit by giving it curvy ones..!!! More colour options are expected and with a good tachometer, good fuel efficiency and NOT to forget BRILLIANT After sales service, it’s SHOW -TIME TVS..!!!

The bike in the above picture which was displayed in auto expo was used for representative purpose only. The bike used for display was TVS Jive but the real bike will sport different set of clothes when its launched. This was made clear by the TVS team themselves.

Honda stunner is still the best in this category…. In terms of power, acceleration, looks, and mileage…

Stunner is a premium segment bike with 11 hp power whereas Raedon is just an ordinary model by TVS to the market just like City, Jive ,starcity etc

Dont compare Stunner with Raedon..Its a shame to stunner

Stunner 125cc cost as much as a 150cc bike, and does not offer any additional features.

Radeon is an odd name for this bike. The problem with this bike is it looks very similar to Jive. TVS should have reintroduced Victor 125 over this. Its would bee more successful. However nice looks. If the price tag is around 50k with good specs then i am thinking of giving this one a try.

Dear TVS, when you have every thing in house , why you are importing a bike from very small manufacturer ( compared to you).
Mr. Venu please awake … before TVS looses the ground…. your 40 vice presidents cant make TVS to survive !
Sad but TVS has lost vision ! bring some visionary !
I wish to help you out Venu, if you wish ………

TVS seems to be treading the same path as Hero Moto Corp. Same engine, same specs but new body graphics, paint, aesthetic changes. Boring scenario for TVS………….
