Triumph, which has been in the news in India for not very good reasons, has ended the year on a fantastic note. They have registered best-ever global sales of 54,432 in 30 years. In comparison the company sold over 52,000 units last year registering a 4.5 percent year-on-year increase in sales.
In India, Triumph registered sales of 1300+ motorcycles for the complete year. The company has also breached the 1000 sales mark for this financial year (April till December 2014) with total sales of 1055 units.
For the month of December 2014, Triumph registered sales of 86 units as compared to 35 units in December 2013. The Brits started their operations in India in November 2013 after a delay, but have spread across to 10 cities and have 12 motorcycle models spanning across 5 categories.
