hi.... Me too planning to own this lovely bike by next week. But only thing concerns is the engine sound. I visited a showroom and the bike i saw there sounds weird. I asked the guy there why so... and his answer was it is a 6000 kms old bike with no service done. That does not sound great to listen. Please let me know... whether i need to check for the engine sound before buying the bike. And also let me know what are all the other parameters need to be checked. Planning to take a Greenish Blue one which is shown in this review.

Hi viewers,

my GS is completed 450 km and i would like to point the following issues.

1) The initial pick up is bit slow but on 3'rd and 4'th it gives much better acceleration on eco mode. but in power mode the power slightly increases.
2) Finding neutral, especially from 1'st gear is really problem. it goes to 2'nd and from 2'nd it can easily put onto neutral.
3) my left hand has pain while driving . i don't know what causes the pain. hoping this problem to be solved after 1'st service.
4) Engine seems to be bit noisy.
5) Disk Brake is not so powerful.
And also i would like to share my positive thoughts about my GS.

1) Awesome Suspension...! road gutters are not a problem for my GS.
2) Riding is very comfortable.
3) Horn is tremendous..!
4) High Quality Switch gears.
5) Very informative and Visible instrument panel.(none other bike has instrument cluster like GS)
6) Very responsive front suspension than unicorn/CBZ.

Overall i am satisfied with this deal. i am now getting around 48 kmpl.

Regards

I wish to clame warrenty for my Suzuki Gs150R bike.. Its just only about 8 to 9 month's old and i am really not happy and satisfied with the bike and its performance.. I am having a lot of problem in the engine.. I am really fedup in taking my bike to the service station (Suzuki service station) as many number of times just for the problem i am having (miss firing of the engine and knocking noise).. And also my bike engine performance is really not like a 150cc bike.. So i want to know how can i replace the bike with the clame of my bikes warrenty.. I will be really thankfull , if you guy's would reply and get back to me as soon as possible.. Looking forward for your reply.. Apart from there problem's, my bike is really superb.. I luv my bike apart from tat.. Thank you..

Sanu,
you have not mentioned the speed levels you travel. Its not with the weight of the rider :) my friend, its the riding style that matters. Do not worry, take GS for a long ride for some 100+ km and ride it at a speed of 50 to 55 kmph and use even the 6th gear. Problem gets solved. Even i had the same problem..i followed the same and it got rectified automatically.
ALL THE BEST

I had taken GS150r white yetserday. On my first 2 people had enquired about the back. Looks are great and performance is also good. The vehicle is smooth in slow speed in top gear. i had driven in 6th gear at 40kmph and there is no jerking like other bikes in such slowspeeds and engine is smooth. Little bit noise from the engine when compared to unicron at slow speeds. Not crossed above 60kmph. Mileage needs to be checked covered only 100km.
I will update my bike status in future after service.
