Royal Enfield Starts Registration for Rann of Kutch 2012

Royal Enfield started registration for ROK (Rann of Kutch) 2012 which is going to start from 11th March 2012. ROK 2012 is an adventure trip to explore the Rann of Kutch. Rann (Desert) of Kutch is famous for its unique wildlife and scenery. It comprises a part of Great Rann of Kutch and little Rann of Kutch. The little Rann of Kutch is famous for its Indian Wild Ass sanctuary and its place for many local migratory birds. The Greater Rann of Kutch forms an International border between India and Pakistan and it is heavily patrolled by BSF (Boarder Security Force). The Royal Enfield ROK 2012 trip will cover some of magnificent places in the Rann of Kutch.

The trip will take you to the places such as Dholavira, a place of one of the oldest civialsations (4,000 year old) in the world, Sardar Post, built in memory of brave soldiers of the Border Security Force who fought valiantly to repel the invaders in the 1965 war and some unique wild life spots. This is an extremely challenging trip due to the climate and terrain and requires high level of motorcycle skills. Hence, this trip is only for intermediate or experts rider. The trip will cover distance of 1,400 kilometers within 7 days starting from Ahemdabad. The trip will give a rider an unforgettable experience in his life.

Interested riders can register themselves for the trip on Royal Enfield Website. Registration is on first come first basis and the trip will cost Rs. 12,000. It’s worth going trip since it comes once in a year and only few riders’ get chance to explore the Rann of Kutch.
